Students often audition for honor groups within their school programs or an outside program within the larger community:

Local: Southern California School Band & Orchestra Association, Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra,

Pulse Percussion, Blue Devils Drum Corps

National: National Youth Orchestra of the USA

International: World Percussion Group
